Dean White’s Biography

Dean White is an Arkansas artist who began painting after rearing four children. She enjoys both realistic and abstract paintings and has a love for color, which is evident in her paintings.


Art training has consisted of taking art classes at the Arkansas Art Center Museum School in Little Rock and workshops given by such recognized artist as Louise Cadillac, Joan Rothermel, Mary Todd Bean, and Judi Betts.


Dean's accomplishments are, Best-of-Show award at Malvern National Bank (1999 show), painting selected for 'Small Works on Paper' to tour the state (1999), third place in the 'Abstract at CACA show' (1997). She also has had paintings exhibited in the Prosecuting Attorney's office in Little Rock and has exhibited at the Cantrell Gallery in Little Rock with the MSW (1996-1999).


Dean White's studio is in Malvern, Arkansas.
