Mary Lemon’s Biography
Mary E. Lemons is originally a native of Connecticut. She and her Arkansas native husband retired in 1981, making their home on Lake Hamilton, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Lemons began painting in oil 20 years ago. She presently attends classes with instructor Thad Flenniken in National Park Community College. She has also studied with Bob Erwin.
Mary paints landscapes, water scenes, and old barns. She has begun doing abstract and representational paintings using bold colors and various shapes. Lemons says, “I love using bold colors and shapes and enjoy the challenge of doing something different. Painting is relaxing for me and gives me a great feeling of accomplishment when a painting is completed.”
Mary Lemons is a member of the Traditional Art Guild and the Artists Workshop Gallery.
